Introduce Yourself
I’m a SAHM to three boys, ages 2 and under. My youngest, #JudahTheTank is a champion nurser who is giving me a run for my money on meeting all milestones early. I also have 2 year old identical twins, Lincoln and Wyatt who were recently diagnosed with Autism. My husband tweets as @yogidad77 and is just the best. After a day home with 3 crazy kids he has no problems being tagged in, usually as he’s walking in the front door. I like good beer, good food and vegging out. Not a good combination! What Do You Do All Day?
What do I DO? I basically control the chaos that is three young boys. I’m fairly adept at feeding them and clothing them and keeping them clean. I do have some issues with clipping fingernails though…I need to source that task out.
What’s One Unusual Hobby You Have?
I don’t think I have any *unusual* hobbies. I like to eat and drink and watch movies listen to music and cook and read blogs and write and kiss my kids. Not all in that order.
What’s Your Favorite Guilty Pleasure?
Southern food. My husband isn’t a fan of food that is fried up in butter and swimming in gravy but I LOVE it. I have no idea where this love comes from. 8 years in Missouri (which is hardly The South) obviously had an effect.
Pick One Topic You Are Passionate About. Tell My Readers Why It’s So Important To You
This is a new one and it’s totally my soapbox: Early Intervention.
The past year and a half has been so crazy with the boys. When we first started worrying about their language development all the way up until their first evaluation, everyone we talked to said: Wait! Don’t worry! Kids all develop at their own pace! You’ve got boys! Twin boys! Identical twin boys! Premature identical twin boys!
20 minutes into their first evaluation we were handed an early Autism diagnosis.
Although it was something in the back of our minds, we were blindsided. Everyone, including our pediatrician told us it was early and nothing to worry about.
I will never, ever be the one in a group telling a Mom who is worried that she shouldn’t worry. I will never ever downplay her fears and tell her to wait it out. That is what Early Intervention is for. And it’s a GOOD thing. We are lucky to have this resource, no parent should have to worry- they can always find out if they have something to worry about, be it a speech delay, a motor skill delay, anything…

5 trips a week to Lund’s (Hello mark-up!) to pick up a random grocery item we are missing…if it’s not on the list when I shop, we can do without!
Back To Fun Stuff. What’s Your Favorite Beverage?
I like many fine craft brews. Right now I’m getting into the Belgians. I will always accept an offer of Russian Imperial Stout…I also have a string addiction to Chocolate Cokes. It’s horrible. I can’t kick it. I should never have gone to Sonic that fateful day. I’m ruined.
Who Are Your Favorite People To Follow Via Twitter Or Blogs?
@GardenBirthMama Because she is so excited about things that I am excited about and she’s the opposite of judgemental. I kind of love her.
@JessicaThinkies Because she was the first IRL person I followed on Twitter- if you can believe I was her boss years ago when she was in High School and now she’s like a totally awesome adult person that everyone should follow.
@AltHouseWife Because she’s an all around cool chic with a cutie baby who I met through #BLW.
And obviously @LifeWithLevi – I think that’s a given!

Life with three boys ages 2 and under. I also talk a lot about my boobs and birth and diapers. Because I think everyone in my extended family should be aware of what is happening with my breasts at all times.
